Speeding and Vehicle Nusiance

Dear Resident

Your local officers are keen to identify any roads or areas within Shephall and Bandley Hill that are hot spots for speeding, or anti-social use of vehicles. 

Vehicle nuisance is currently a local policing priority for Stevenage South, and your Neighbourhood Policing Team are committed to preventing offending and improving road safety. Your local team have a wide range of tactics and powers enabling us to deal with unlawful or anti-social use of vehicles, including traffic offence reports, vehicle defect rectification scheme notices, and Section 59 PRA 2002 warnings, as well as speed gun, breathalyser and drug wipe capability, and we also work with partners including the BCH Roads Policing Unit and the DVLA.
